Shared parameter management is what RushForth is known for, and it goes deeper than most: importing and exporting shared parameters to and from families and projects, reviewing existing schedules and adding the parameters they are missing, and making families schedule- and tag-compatible from preset parameter lists. If your problem is parameter plumbing across a family library, that is their home ground. The commercial model is straightforward too — a one-time purchase with no maintenance fee, non-expiring for the version bought. The catch is that licences are tied to a specific Revit version, so a practice live on three Revit versions is buying three licences rather than one.
Breadth and scope. RushForth is focused on data, parameters and setup; roughly half of what NexionTools does is documentation and model-health work that sits outside that — facade dimensioning, wall joins, QC scorecards, warning triage, per-room documentation, point cloud comparison. If shared parameters and Excel are the work, RushForth is focused on exactly that and sold outright rather than rented, which suits firms that dislike subscriptions. Do the arithmetic on Revit versions first: the licence covers the version you buy, so supporting several concurrently multiplies the cost. If drawing production and model health are where your hours go, that is the half of the problem it does not target, and running both is a reasonable outcome.
