Are NexionTools tools free to use? Each tool has its own licensing model. Some tools are free for individual use, while others require a license for commercial or team use. Pricing and license details are shown on each tool's download page. Can I use a tool on multiple machines? Yes, we offer team and studio licenses for multi-device use. Standard licenses cover a single workstation, while our Team plan includes 3 devices and Studio includes 10 devices. You can also purchase additional devices as add-ons. Is there a trial period? Yes - every premium plugin is free to try for 3 days with full functionality, and no credit card is required. (Separate from the trial, every paid plan also includes a 14-day money-back guarantee after purchase.) What happens when my license expires? The tool will stop functioning after the license period ends. You'll receive renewal reminders by email in advance. Renewing extends your license from the expiry date, not from the renewal date, so you never lose time. Which versions of Revit® are supported? NexionTools tools currently support Autodesk® Revit® 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027. Each download card lists the exact supported versions. Do the tools work on operating systems other than Windows? No. Autodesk® Revit® only runs on Windows, so NexionTools tools are Windows-only. They are tested on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). macOS and Linux are not supported. Are tools compatible with Revit® LT? No. Revit® LT does not support third-party add-ins by design. NexionTools tools require the full version of Autodesk® Revit®. Will the tools work alongside other Revit® plugins? Yes. NexionTools tools are designed to coexist with other add-ins. If you experience a conflict, please contact support with details about the other plugin. Do tools modify my Revit® model permanently? All changes made by NexionTools tools are wrapped in Revit® transactions, which means they are fully reversible with Ctrl+Z (Undo). We always recommend saving a backup before running batch operations. Can tools be run on linked models? This depends on the specific tool. Most tools operate on the active model only. Tools that support linked model processing will clearly state this in their documentation. Do I need internet access to use the tools? No. Once installed, tools run entirely within Revit® without an internet connection. An internet connection is only needed for license activation and downloading updates. Can I automate tools with Dynamo or scripts? Some tools expose an API or accept command-line arguments that enable automation. Check the individual tool documentation or contact us about scripting integrations. Do you accept feature requests for new plugins? Absolutely. We actively develop new plugins based on user feedback. Fill in the contact form with your workflow challenge and we will evaluate adding it to our roadmap. How often do you release new plugins? Simple plugins (single-action automation, read-only analysis) take 1 to 3 weeks to develop. Complex tools with advanced UI, multi-step workflows, or external integrations take 4 to 8 weeks. We provide a clear timeline estimate after the scoping call. How do I report a bug? Use the contact form on our Contact page and describe the issue as precisely as possible: what you were doing, what happened, and any error messages shown. Screenshots or Revit® journal files are very helpful. What is the typical response time for support? We aim to respond to all support requests within one business day. Complex issues that require investigation may take 2-3 business days for a full resolution. Is there documentation available in Arabic or German? The website is available in English, Arabic, and German. Individual tool documentation is currently available in English, with Arabic and German translations in progress.
